Well, well, look what we have got here- The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi which we were speaking about earlier the other day.
Spotted sporting zebra stripes, the Suzuki Kizashi is eager to attack it's D-Segment competitors once it steps on to India some day in 2009-10. It's name might be changed, it might be the same, but we think it hardly matters.
The Suzuki Kizashi was photographed by spy photographers at the Nurburgring, a race track in Germany which auto makers from around the world use as a testing and proving ground.
One can see a lot of Suzuki trademarks on this car. For instance, the boot lid, which sits higher and is humped along its edge, is alike the Swift Dzire. The tail light cluster is identical to the SX4 sedan and so is the steeply raked front windscreen.
Beneath the twin-creased hood, lays a 150 bhp, 2.3 litre, 4-drum petrol engine and 300 bhp, 3.6 litre, V6 petrol engine (Skoda vRS?..Skoda who?!) and a 2.0-liter turbo charged diesel engine. Front wheel drive will be standard although an AWD option will be available for some models. A paddle-shifted six-speed automatic will additionally be offered, which will give a hard time to the Honda Civic Automatic model.
Station wagon and Coupe variants will also be bred on the Suzuki Kizashi platform, but we don't believe it will be traded in India. Guessworks are plenty, some puts forward that this car might arrive to your nearest Maruti dealer any time next year, and we won't rubbish that claim.
