Gets an increase in engine displacement.

The 2015 Aprilia Tuono 1100 RR has been unveiled at the EICMA 2014 in Milan, Italy. The naked superbike receives minor design tweaks and a rebored engine.

As the name indicates, the street fighter's V4 powerhouse now displaces 1,100 cc. As a result of a bigger engine, the power output has gone up by 5 PS to 175 PS (172.5 bhp) at 11,000 rpm. At 120 Nm (at 9,000 rpm), the peak torque also sees a marginal increase. The 6-speed cassette type gearbox remains the same.

Other changes include lowered seat height (by 15 mm), narrower handlebar, larger visor and bold new graphics.

Held together by a lightweight aluminium dual-beam frame, the regular variants of the motorcycle are suspended by adjustable Sachs upside down fork and monoshock. The braking system is supplied by Brembo and is governed by Bosch ABS. The top-end Tuono V4 1100 RR (shown here) comes a with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension system.

The motorcycle can be opted with Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) which includes Traction Control (ATC), Wheelie Control (AWC), Launch Control (ALC), all of which can be deactivated or configured independently.

The front and rear tubeless tyres are of specifications 120/70 ZR 17 and 200/55 ZR 17 respectively.
