Ford is hoping to break new ground with the new Endeavour as it claims the off-road potential of the SUV has increased drastically. Design wise, the overhangs have been shortened to enable a 29-degree approach angle, a 21-degree ramp-over angle, and a 25 degree departure angle.
The Blue Oval claims that the Endeavour can now wade water up to a depth of 800 mm. To put that in perspective, the new Range Rover Sport has a water wading depth of 850 mm. And speaking of the British brand, Ford has given the new Endeavour a similar Terrain Management System, allowing the driver to choose between different terrain modes such as Sand, Gravel, Mud etc.
Inside, the SUV ditches its utilitarian cabin and instead features a modern dashboard befitting its 20-25 lakh price tag (expected price). A new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes center stage, and brings along with it Ford's SYNC 2 multimedia system with voice commands.
