The official presentation of the 2015 Peugeot 208 (facelift) is reportedly scheduled for tomorrow (19 February), but the first photos have already leaked on the Internet.
The cosmetic update sees the car getting a larger grille, new headlamps with a tint, and a new bumper whose lower part has been redesigned along the lines of the 508 restyle, in addition to chrome braces around the foglamp.
At the rear, the car gets LED taillights with a different detailing. New body colours and alloy wheel options will also be in the mix.
Inside, the Peugeot 208 facelift adopts new textures, leather steering wheel, and a new touch-screen multimedia system.
Feline208 is reporting that the 208 facelift will sport a rearview camera, City Active Brake, and automatic emergency braking system that is also found on the new DS 3.
Under the hood, the 208 facelift gets the revised naturally aspirated 1.0-liter and 1.2-liter PureTech engines with 68 hp and 82 hp outputs respectively, while the turbocharged version of the same engine developing 110 hp will also be available. This motor will be paired to either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The diesel range meanwhile is the same 1.6-liter engine in 75 hp, 100 hp and 120 hp guises.
