2016 Honda Pilot SUV's interior snapped ahead of reveal - Spied
Not-for-India SUV to debut this week in Chicago.
Honda announced that the new generation 2016 Pilot SUV will be revealed on February 12, at the Chicago Auto Show. The Japanese company released a teaser, showing the side of the new Pilot, but these spyshots from the HondasAcuras give a glimpse to the interior and underbody of the car.
Seen inside is a large touchscreen display which could feature the new Honda Connect System. The touchscreen unit is flanked by vertical AC vents with thick metallic/silver highlights. Resting below the infotainment system seems to be the display for the automatic climate control. A starter button for the engine is also seen in this image.
The underbody image shows the single exhaust tip (concealed within the bumper) and the spare wheel, which is positioned below the car to extract more interior space for rear seat passengers.
Honda has announced that the third generation Pilot was designed and developed in the United States by Honda Americas R&D Center in Los Angeles and Ohio. The SUV is likely to be manufactured at the company's Alabama plant.

The Pilot will not be sold in the Indian market, where Honda's premium SUV offering is only the CR-V. For emerging markets like India, Honda is reportedly working on a compact SUV based on the Honda Brio's platform.
