2016 Kia Optima exterior fully revealed - Spied
Midsize sedan debuts in New York on April 1.
Just a day after Kia partially revealed the fourth-generation Optima, new spyshots have surfaced on the web revealing the car from every angle.
The front fascia of the Korean spec Optima (local name - Kia K5) is a quite different from what was seen in the official photos; the front bumper varies, the side air inlets are very small or mostly likely non-existent, the airdam is different, and there are LED foglamps incorporated near the intake.
The side profile seems to be nearly identical to the outgoing model. The rear window panel has gotten sleeker and has been elevated. The shape of the quarter glass apparently has also been tweaked, which is smaller than before, with a black plastic cladding behind it.
The newly designed sleek taillamps cut even more of the bootlid now. The design of the LED taillights seem to be inspired from that of the Mercedes S-Class Coupe. The car seen in the spyshot had a single exhaust system but the range-topping trim level may feature a dual exhaust system.
