2016 Nissan Sentra will be extensively revised - Report
Facelifted model to be unveiled this fall.
In an interview with Automotive News, Nissan North America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing's, Fred Diaz, revealed that 2016 Nissan Sentra will receive a major facelift, which will be unveiled this fall.
According to Mr Diaz, the facelift will make the car look "almost all new", which could suggest that Nissan may borrow cues from the latest design philosophy that influences the Nissan Maxima and China-only Nissan Lannia.
The executive declined to talk about the finer details nor the powertrain changes. The current Nissan Sentra is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine developing 130 bhp and 173 Nm of torque. It can be paired to either a six-speed manual or an optional Xtronic CVT gearbox.

The 2016 Nissan Sentra will be accompanied by another facelift, that of the Nissan Altima, due for a debut in 2016. Like the Sentra, the Altima will also receive a more-extensive-than-normal product facelift.
