2017 Chevrolet Beat rear spied up close, taillamps revealed
To arrive in showrooms early next year.
Motorworld India has acquired spyshots of the 2017 Chevrolet Beat with slighter camouflage than before, revealing some of the elements of its final design. The second-gen Chevrolet Beat will arrive in showrooms early next year, and will be based on the same platform as the current car.
A spyshot of its rear-end has revealed the taillamp design, which looks similar to the outgoing model. Other changes include a re-positioned registration plate area and a wide handle for tailgate release. One of the spyshots also offers a look of its front-end, which is inline with the design revealed by GM India earlier this year.
The interior receives an overhaul for a more premium look. It has a dual tone beige and black interior with beige fabric seats, a new center console with larger HVAC vents and silver trim, chrome bezel around the HVAC vents and an updated instrument cluster with chrome accents. The top-end LTZ grade will feature a 7-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system.

Along with the hatchback, the next gen Chevrolet Beat will spawn a crossover and sub-4m sedan called Chevrolet Beat Activ and Chevrolet Essentia, respectively, which were showcased as near-production concepts at the Auto Expo 2016.
