2019 Suzuki Intruder launched in India, priced from INR 108,162
Suzuki has kickstarted the new financial year in India with the launch of the 2019 Intruder. The carburettor variant has been priced at INR 1,01,362 while the fuel injected model can be purchased for INR 1,08,162 – both ex-showroom Delhi.

With the MY2019 update, the Suzuki Intruder gets a new colour scheme – Metallic Matte Titanium Silver along with styling features that are aimed to enhance the sportiness and comfort factor. The new model has an updated gearshift design and improved brake pedal for enhanced ergonomics and overall ride comfort. Other colour options available are Glass Sparkle Black / Metallic Matte Titanium Silver and Metallic Matte Black / Candy Sonoma Red. The digital instrumentation has remained as is.

The Suzuki Intruder is powered by the 154.9 cc SEP single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The motor comes paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both wheels, and the safety net includes a single-channel ABS as standard. Suspension department continues to feature telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the back.

Suzuki Motorcycle India closed FY2018-19 near its target of 7,50,000 unit sales. The brand clocked its highest ever sales and sold 7,47,506 units in FY2018-19. Now, the company hopes to hit 10,00,000 unit sales target in the financial year 2019-2020. The Suzuki Intruder has been performing very poorly in our market. In January and February this year, not a single unit of the entry-level cruiser was sold.
