2019 Suzuki Vitara (facelift) leaked, could debut at 2018 Paris Motor Show
CarAdvice has posted the first images of the 2019 Suzuki Vitara (facelift), ahead of a debut which is expected at the Paris Motor Show in September 2018. The same event four years ago hosted the world premiere of the current generation Vitara.
Suzuki has made small changes to the exterior of the Vitara Series II, as the report calls it. A new grille with vertical chrome elements (similar to the S-Cross facelift), a new plastic/metal trim in the foglight enclosure and sensors for the autonomous emergency braking are seen at the front. The only change to the side is a new alloy wheel pattern, though the rear gets taillight enclosures in a darker shade of red and the reversing light is relocated to the center of the bumper.
Aside from these updates, expect minor changes to the interior trim, and the addition of adaptive cruise control. The report mentions that Suzuki will not alter the powertrain options of the Vitara, but the diesel option may be given a miss for the Australian market.

Though the Vitara has been spied in India on many occasions, Maruti Suzuki does not plan to launch it in our market. Instead, it is working on another SUV positioned above the Maruti Vitara Brezza. This model, underpinned by Suzuki's fifth-gen C platform, will enter production in 2020.
