Audi RS 7 Performance launched in India at INR 1.6 crores
Performance package bumps up power by 45 hp to 605 hp.
Following its local debut at the Auto Expo 2016, Audi has launched the Audi RS 7 Performance for sale in India. Priced at INR 1.6 crores (INR 1,59,65,000, ex-showroom New Delhi), it is nearly 20 Lakhs more than the Audi RS 7.
For that premium, it gets a 45 hp bump in power output from the same 4.0L twin-turbo V8 TFSI petrol engine, now producing 605 hp and 750 Nm of peak torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and quattro AWD system, the RS 7 Performance can hit 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than RS 7).
Otherwise, it's not very different from the standard RS 7 Sportback. The RS7 features a singleframe black honeycomb grille that also house an inlet bearing the ‘Quattro’ moniker, matrix LED headlamps, large side inlets, flaring arches, silver ORVM caps, dual sports exhaust system, active spoiler, rear diffuser and lower ride height.
