The Audi TT Sportback concept has been revealed at the VW Group Night. Based on the TT, the car is a powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine that develops 400 hp and 300 Nm, and is paired to a seven-speed S tronic gearbox which transfers drive to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.

The Audi TT Sportback concept has the pronounced single-frame grille, which bears on its lower edge, a Quattro logo. The front is further defined by large air inlets and from this angle the car looks flatter and wider than the two-door coupe.

Moving to the side, there is a strong shoulder line underlining a low, stretched glass house. Audi says the heavily rounded corners of the rear window form a tribute to the original TT.

The rear view of the Audi TT Sportback concept is sleek with five horizontal lines emphasizing its width. The one-piece rear lights and two large, elliptical exhaust tailpipes embedded into the diffuser round up the visual features.

Built with aluminum components, the car sports the Matrix LED headlamp, and the Audi virtual cockpit that has a 12.3-inch screen replacing the conventional instruments and the MMI monitor.

Keeping at the interior, the upper portion of the door panels are finished in dark gray granite and a Parchment Beige is used in the seats and center console. The side bolsters of the seats wear special accent stripes in dark gray leather, and have red stitching. A dark aluminium look is worn by the instrument panel and door panels.

The car measures 4.47 meters long, 1.89 meters wide and 1.38 meters high, with a wheelbase measuring 2.63 meters. It exceeds the production TT (two-door) with 29 centimeters extra length and a wheelbase elongated by 12.7 centimeters.
