The new design draws inspiration from the Ducati Diavel 1260. The rendered Dominar 400 is imagined with a flatter headlight, tank shrouds, radiator surrounds and an updated engine cowl. The front fascia benefits from a taller windscreen. At the back, the stock fender has been replaced by tyre hugger-mounted unit for a premium look.
The new kit gives a glimpse at what to expect from Autologue Designs in the coming months. Autologue already has a touring kit on sale for the 2019 Dominar 400. The package includes a tall windscreen, tank grip, pillion backrest, top box, saddle stay and a bash plate.
The updated hardware on the 2019 iteration gives the Dominar 400 a more premium and sporty persona. The new specification sheet includes inverted forks and radially mounted brake callipers at the front. The rear continues to use an adjustable monoshock to perform the shock absorption tasks.
Apart from the revision to the suspension and the braking setup, Bajaj has also revised the power output figures with the MY2019 update. The 373.3 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor benefits from a DOHC system, and delivers 40 PS at 8,650 rpm and 35 Nm at 7,000 rpm. For reference, the previous model was tuned to produce 35 PS of max power.
The latest price increase brought the ex-showroom tag of the 2019 Dominar 400 to INR 1.80 lakh* as against the launch price of INR 1.74 lakh*. Despite the price increase, the Dominar 400 is still one of the most value-for-money products in our market.
Meanwhile, the Ducati Diavel 1260 has landed in India. The latest iteration of the Italian power cruiser is available in two variants – Diavel 1260 (INR 17.70 lakh**) and Diavel 1260S (INR 19.25 lakh**).

The new variant packs updated styling and a relatively bigger engine than its predecessor. The Ducati Testastretta 1,262 cc L-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve mill with Desmodromic Variable Timing pumps out 159 hp of power at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
