Autologue touring accessories for 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 available for pre-order

Autologue Design has started taking pre-bookings for the touring-focused accessories for the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400. Regular readers would remember that Bajaj Auto had signed Autologue Design to create accessories for the Dominar 400 UG. Bajaj Auto will conduct a quality check on the parts designed by Autologue Design. However, the company will not have their branding on the optional extras.

The optional accessories for the Bajaj Dominar 400 by Autologue Design is available at 20% discount for the first 50 buyers.

The option accessories and their respective prices (without 20% discount) are mentioned below:

  • Visor (Clear and Smoked): INR 2,630
  • Tank grip: INR 985
  • Pillion backrest: INR 2,045
  • Top rack: INR 3,125
  • Saddle stay: INR 3,680
  • Bash plate: INR 3,285

The new, tall visor is aimed at offering better protection against windblasts on highways and enhanced rider comfort. It is available in two options - smoked and clear. The pillion backrest will provide better support to the passenger. The luggage solutions include saddle stays to prevent the saddlebags from swinging and getting in contact with the rear tyre. The top rack can be used to mount a top box or a bag without hampering the pillion comfort. The bash plate will offer better protection to the engine during off-roading. Autologue Design is offering a 20% discount on the accessories for the first 50 buyers.

To give you a recap, the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 was launched in India at INR 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The MY2019 model comes with visual and mechanical upgrades. The maximum power delivered by the 373.3 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection, for example, has gone up by 5 PS. This engine produces 39.9 PS at 8,650 rpm and 35 Nm at 7,000 rpm now.

The windscreen that is offered by Autologue Design is available in two variants - smoked and clear, for a price of INR 2,630.

Updated hardware includes upside-down forks at the front instead of conventional forks at the front, repositioned front disc brake with radially mounted callipers, a new layout for the instrument console, redesigned mounts for the rearview mirrors, wider crash guards and a new side stand. A touring-focused feature that comes as standard from the factory includes bungee straps under the pillion seat.
