Unreleased Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS' parts spotted in a Mumbai market - Report
Recently the headlamp of the unreleased Chevrolet Camaro 6 was listed on eBay.
Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS parts that reportedly came off a crashed test mule were recently found on view at a shop in Kurla, Mumbai by a Motorbeam reader. Kurla is famous for large unorganized after-market alleys, where parts for cars and bikes, including entire engines and spares for imported vehicles that are otherwise hard to come by, can be purchased after a little searching.
While this 200 SS' fairing seems to be intact from the front, the plastic notches and mounting brackets could have been broken leaving the part unusable. Generally manufacturers are quick to clean off the debris from a crash to avoid any bad publicity, which is suspected to be the case here.
The Pulsar 200 SS is one of the most anticipated launches of 2015. Seen testing many times in various Indian cities and towns, the motorcycle has already been revealed in Cambodia as well as Turkey. The 200 SS gets the same engine as it's naked counterpart, the Pulsar 200 NS, but apparently has slightly better power output.
Its 199 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine is fuel injected and is expected to produce around 24.5 bhp of power, and launch in ABS as well as non-ABS flavours, at a price of around INR 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
