IAB Report - Uber luxurious Cadillac Escalade Platinum revealed with 4G LTE
The Platinum packs in a 360-degree camera, 4G LTE connectivity and many other features.
Cadillac has announced an additional variant of the Escalade that further increases the premium appeal of the large SUV. If the Range Rover Vogue doesn't strike your fancy, this one might.
Called the Cadillac Escalade Platinum, it features all the bells and whistles that the GM-owned premium brand can cram into its flagship SUV. For starters, the interior features semi-aniline Nappa leather upholstery with sueded microfiber accents.
The Platinum trim also comes with an exotic wood veneer, premium floor mats, leather wrapped dashboard and "Platinum" branded door sill plates.
The convenient features comprise a Surround-View camera that displays a 360-degree view of the car, 18-way electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats with heating/cooling function, a rear entertainment package that includes two 7-inch displays fitted to the front headrests and a roof mounted 9-inch display. To enjoy internet on-the-go, the Escalade will also pack 4G-LTE connectivity.
The exterior will feature additional chrome accents, 22-inch alloy rims and a revised grille with the trademark Cadillac crest. Under the hood, the standard Escalade's engine lineup as well as the 8-speed automatic transmission will be offered.
Prices will start at USD 90,270 (around INR 55.2 lakhs) for the Platinum variant, and is expected to arrive at showrooms later this year.
