Recent spy photographs revealed various styling details of the upcoming CFMoto 250SR (CFMoto 300SR in select markets). Based on the information available, IAB’s digital artist, Shoeb Kalania created a rendering of how the production-spec model may look like.

The production-spec 250SR (CFMoto 300SR) will pack full LED lighting and a digital instrument console among other features.

The styling of the 250 cc and 300 cc versions will be identical. The front-end will retain the sharp styling of the concept motorcycle while adding street-legal bits such as headlight (a twin-pod LED lights with LED pilot lamps), rear-view mirrors and blinkers. The full LED lighting setup gives the CFMoto product a premium look. The India-bound model, the 300SR, will share its underpinnings, engine and other hardware with the recently launched 300NK. Thus, the cockpit will include a digital screen with selectable modes – Rain and Sport. The modes do not affect the power output of the bike. Instead, they alter the layout of the ride-related information on the screen.

The production-spec model, as seen in the recent spy images, will pack pronounced tank recesses, split-style saddle and air-duct-style design for the rear panel (under the pillion seat). The underbelly exhaust, similar to the 300NK, gives the fully-faired version a clean look.

Hardware specifications will include upside-down telescopic forks at the front, a rear monoshock suspension, disc brakes on both ends and a dual-channel ABS. The fully-faired bike will ride on 110/70-R17 front and 140/60-R17 rear tyres.

The CFMoto 300SR will use a 292.4 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine that delivers 33.9 PS of power at 7,200 rpm and 20.5 Nm of peak torque at 8,800 rpm. The engine will be linked to a six-speed gearbox.

The production-spec 250SR (300SR) is likely to make a debut at the EICMA motorcycle show in November this year, while the Indian launch will happen in mid-2020 (May-August 2020). The 300SR will rival the TVS Apache RR310 and the KTM RC390 in our market. Similar to the naked roadster (300NK), the 300SR is also likely to arrive at an aggressive introductory price tag, perhaps close to INR 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

The CFMoto 300SR (concept bike in the photograph) will arrive in India by mid-2020. It will rival the KTM RC390 and the TVS Apache RR310 in our market.
