Chevrolet Spin snapped inside-out ahead of Auto Expo showcase - Spied
Launch to take place in 2017.
A Chevrolet Spin pre-production prototype was snapped inside and out at a car wash station by Team-BHP member 'SILVERWOOD" in Whitefield, Bangalore. Despite being showcased on February 3 at the Auto Expo 2016, GM India has confirmed in its Auto Expo release that the Chevrolet Spin will only launch in 2017. The long wait could be attributed to completely localizing the Spin in India.
The Chevrolet Spin, which was announced for India last July, will be GM’s India third offering in the MPV space, after the Tavera and Enjoy. It measures 4.36 meters in length, 1.73 meters in width, 1.68 meters in height and has a ground clearance of 191 mm. It has a wheelbase spanning 2.52 meters and weighs 1,277 kg, and also comes in a crossover styled 'Activ' variant in Brazil and Indonesia.
The 2+3+2 seat MPV has a simple interior design that is equipped with a music system supporting USB, AUX and Bluetooth telephony, and steering-mounted buttons. The seats are upholstered in fabric, and the cabin is finished in a dual tone beige and brown color combination.
