Custom BMW G310 R by DKdesign draws inspiration from the BMW R100 & R50
Taiwan based motorcycle customisation brand, DKdesign has created a unique BMW G310 R that has undergone a complete makeover. Christened Project G310 Rogue, the motorcycle draws inspiration from yesteryear BMW Motorrad products. The folks at DKdesign have used the "R" in G310 R as "Rogue".

The vintage-styled variant of BMW’s (Made-In-India) single-cylinder offering clubs the retro styling with modern equipment. The Project G310 Rogue uses the round tank shape from the R100 and the R50 inspired rubber seat cushion, on a street fighter style motorcycle.
For starters, DKdesign has removed all the stock body panels and replaced them with custom-built units. Upfront is a full-LED spherical headlight. The headlight is surrounded by a body-coloured mask, which further adds to the retro styling of the Project G310 Rogue. Behind the headlight is the stock, full-digital instrument console that continues to display all the ride related information. What is new, however, is the clip-on style handlebar that has been designed by DKdesign, aimed at providing more aggressive and committed ergonomics than the stock motorcycle.
The custom-made fuel tank, as aforementioned, draws inspiration from the BMW R100. It features the BMW logo on the sides and G310 Rogue graphics on the top. The stock Aircraft-Style Flush-Mount fuel filler cap has been retained.
DKdesign has removed the bolt-on rear frame and created a rider only saddle that gives the motorcycle a compact look. The tail light has been placed right below the rider seat. The cover for the front sprocket has been removed, revealing the mechanical parts. Aftermarket performance parts on the motorcycle include Spark sourced exhaust, and an H2 Plus rear monoshock. Closer inspection reveals that the exhaust pipe gets a heat wrap to further enhance the retro-classic look. Lastly, an underbelly protector with DSdesign logo completes the custom bodywork.
The list of parts that have been retained on the motorcycle includes the tubular trellis frame, front forks, and the original wheel design. The wheels, however, are wrapped in Michelin sourced Power RS Tires.

DKdesign has done a commendable job with the motorcycle, and the final product comes across as definitely attention worthy.
