EICMA 2019: 2020 Benelli TNT 600 with minor updates revealed
Benelli has revealed the 2020 TNT 600 naked roadster, and the latest iteration packs very few visual upgrades over its predecessor. Based on the several leaked images that were revealed in the past, we were expecting to see a completely different motorcycle in 2020.

The most noticeable upgrade comes to the front fascia that now features a full-LED headlight and a sharper design. The addition of the LED headlight completes the full-LED lighting package (headlamp, blinkers and taillight) that enhances the premium look of the vehicle. The black panel above the headlamp has gone missing, and the new model shows off its instrument console from the front. The fuel-tank extensions, which also work as radiator shrouds, get a sharper design as well, and they now feature a dual-tone finish. Similarly, the rear panel has also received a styling upgrade.
The 2020 iteration of the middleweight roadster retains features such as split-style, step-up seat, a two-piece pillion grab rail and the under-seat exhaust layout from the previous model. The exhaust system packs additional catalytic converter and oxygen sensors to comply with the new emission norms. The saddle appears to pack better padding. The motorcycle also retains the steel trellis frame layout, although the swingarm is new on the 2020 model.
The 2020 Benelli TNT 600 continues to use a 600 cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 16-valve (4 valves per cylinder) DOHC engine that delivers 60.0 kW or 81.46 hp of max power at 11,500 rpm and a peak torque of 51 Nm (5.2 kgm) at 10,500 rpm. The four-cylinder motor comes linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The shock absorption setup includes 50 mm inverted front forks and an asymmetrically mounted rear mono-shock. The rear suspension setup is adjustable for preload and in hydraulic rebound damping. Braking department boasts twin 320 mm semi-floating discs with four-piston callipers at the front and a 260 mm single rotor with a two-piston calliper. Safety net comprises dual-channel ABS.

The 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres. Other key features on the Benelli TNT 600 include a 15-litre fuel tank and a digital TFT dashboard (instead of a semi-digital unit on its predecessor). Benelli has confirmed that the TNT 600 will not be available in Europe. Instead, the European markets may get an all-new model, and it could be one of the two motorcycles that were revealed through leaked sketches.
