New Ford Endeavour - Auto Expo 2016
Available with two diesel engine options.
The new Ford Endeavour has been showcased at Auto Expo 2016. The full-size SUV is available in two trims: Trend and Titanium.
The SUV has a bold and muscular design that appeals to customers with its big, off-road personality. It is built on a ladder frame chassis and has dimensions of 4,892 mm, 1,860 mm and 1,837 mm in length, width and height respectively. The seats are laid out in a three-row configuration and can seat up to seven occupants in comfort, mainly due to its 2,850 mm wheelbase.
The interior features a dual-tone dashboard that has the SYNC2 infotainment system with voice command support. In the top-end Titanium trim, seats are upholstered in leather, much like the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Ambient lighting, keyless entry, 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, powered side mirrors, 10-speaker audio system, electrochromatic rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control and ceiling AC vents for second and third row passengers are some other convenience-enhancing attributes.
Two engines are available in the Endeavour, both diesel. The first is a 3.2-liter five-cylinder engine generating 200 PS and 470 Nm. It is mated exclusively to a 6-speed automatic gearbox sending power to all four wheels. Next up is the less powerful 2.2-liter four cylinder mill producing 160 PS and 385 Nm of torque. This block is available with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. Ford has made available the 6-speed automatic gearbox and 4WD system as an option.
