Ford Figo Aspire launched - 2015 Nepal Auto Show Live

Go Ford has launched the Ford Figo Aspire in Nepal at the 2015 NADA Auto Show, just weeks after the sub-4 meter sedan went on sale in India.

Like in the Indian market, the Figo Aspire for Nepal is available with three engine options. Starting the range is a 1.2-liter TiVCT petrol which is capable of 88 PS and 112 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission with an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 18.16 km/l. The 1.2-liter petrol variants are available in four trim levels - Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, Titanium+ - with prices ranging between 24.9 - 34.9 lakhs NPR (INR 15.58 to INR 21.84 lakhs).

Next up is a 1.5-liter TiVCT petrol developing 112 PS and 136 Nm of torque, paired exclusively to a 6-speed dual-clutch Powershift automatic transmission. The Figo Aspire AT is available in a single Titanium variant only priced at NPR 34.9 lakhs. It has an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 17 km/l.

The 1.5-liter TDCi diesel churns out 100 PS and 215 Nm of torque and has a fuel efficiency of 25.83 km/l. Available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the diesel range encompasses four trim levels, similar to the petrol, with prices ranging from 27.9 lakhs to 38.9 lakhs NPR (INR 17.46 lakhs to INR 24.35 lakhs).

In the Indian market, the Figo Aspire has received over 4,000 bookings since launch.
