Though its like comparing apples to oranges, an Audi A6 with a 3.0-liter V6 300 bhp petrol engine does 0-60 km/h in roughly the same time. Detailed specifications of the HX 250R's engine remain unannounced as of now.
We do however know that the bike weighs 139 kg and comes with a 6-speed gearbox. Braking at the front is provided by a 300 mm disc, while the rear gets a 200 mm disc. Hero announced that ABS will be an optional feature.
Other features announced for the motorcycle include twin headlights with LED guide position lights, LED stoplights, a maintenance free battery and a closed crankcase ventilation system.
Hero is expected to launch the HX 250R this year. The bike will compete with the Honda CBR 250R and the newly-launched Suzuki Inazuma.
