Production Honda 150SS Racer spied in Indonesia
The production version of the Honda 150SS Racer Concept has been spied in Indonesia, reportedly while on a commercial shoot.
The pictures taken by the Facebook group, MZ Crazy Cars indicate that the design language of the bike is more or less similar to the concept version. However, Honda has replaced certain parts with mass production and budget-compatible units. The swingarm looks like a rectangular box type unit instead of gullwing type used in the concept version.

A single cylinder engine with liquid cooling nestles inside the Trellis frame. The bike gets upside down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The design of the tail section is relatively conservative when compared to the concept. The ten-spoke alloy wheels are shod with tyres that looks like a 110 section at the front and a 140 section at the rear. The bike gets split seats. The lighting system is likely to be LED units. The brakes include petal type discs on both ends. The front disc gets a radial-mount calliper.
The production version of the bike is reportedly called the 'Honda CB150F'. This is not to be confused with the commuter sold in Pakistan.
The brand teased the bike at a dealer conference in Thailand last month. Honda has invested over 6 million Baht (INR 11,548,880) in the R&D of the Honda 150SS Racer. At BIMS 2017, the company had confirmed that it will launch this model. Going by the spy shots, the bike looks almost production ready. Expect Honda to make an announcement within weeks.
