Honda Cars India opens new dealership in Thane - IAB Report
Honda has 205 outlets in India.
Japanese car major Honda Cars India has opened a new dealership, Regent Honda in Thane, Mumbai. Jnaneswar Sen, Senior VP, Marketing and Sales, and Kamal Ailsinghani, MD, Regent Honda jointly inaugurated the outlet.
Regent Honda is built on an area of 24,800 square feet. This 3-S facility has the state of the art workshop with 21 bays and offers comprehensive range of services including sales, service and spare parts.
Honda has a dealership network with 205 outlets spread across 133 cities in India. In fact, the Japanese auto maker operates under standards of ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environment management as well. Honda has two manufacturing facilities at Greater Noida, U.P and Tapukara, Rajasthan.
Honda's product range includes Honda Brio, Honda Amaze, Honda Mobilio, Honda City and Honda CR-V. Going forth, the new Honda Jazz is expected to launch this financial year, while an SUV based on the Brio platform could come by early 2016.

Last month, Honda sold 15,263 units in the domestic market, an increase of 64 percent compared to November 2013. The City continues to lead with sales of 7,252 units, followed by the newly-launched Mobilio which sold 3,589 units. The Amaze, Brio and CR-V accounted for sales of 3,310, 1,050 and 62 units respectively.
