Honda Super Cub 110, Honda Cross Cub 110 & Honda Super Cub C125 debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show - Live

The Honda Cross Cub 110, Honda Super Cub C125, and the 100 million unit commemorative model of the Honda Super Cub 110 made their global debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show today.

Honda Cross Cub 110

The Japanese brand has designed the Honda Cross Cub 110 to be more rugged and off-road friendly. The round LED headlamp gets protective grille, and the front telescopic fork comes with gaiters to protect it from dust. The spoke wheels with black rims and hubs are shod with dual-purpose tyres. The moped is a single seater, with a luggage rack at the rear. Twin shock absorbers handle the suspension responsibility at the rear.

The Cross Cub 110 is powered by a single cylinder 109cc OHC engine with a constantly-engaged 4-speed transmission. Its mechanism sets the transmission type to return transmission while in motion, and rotary when stationary. Drum brakes (front & rear) provide the stopping power.

Honda Super Cub 110 Commemorative Edition

The 100 million commemorative model of the Honda Super Cub 110 features a unique white and gold dual tone bodywork. The seat is also dual tone with red and white accents. Like the Cross Cub, the Super Cub 110 special edition is a single seater. The headlamp is circular and an LED unit. The Super Cub employs a 109cc single cylinder OHC engine with fuel injection. It generates 8 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed transmission.

Suspension bits include telescopic front fork and twin rear hydraulic shock absorbers. The Super Cub employs drum brakes on both ends for braking. The Super Cub also celebrates its 60th anniversary with this commemorative edition model.

Honda Super Cub C125

The design of the Honda Super Cub C125 is a combination of form and function. The moped features an "S-shaped line" from the leg shield to the rear fender, which is symbolic of the Super Cub’s design language. The lighting system is all-LED, and the single seat is finished in red. The instrument cluster is an analogue-digital combo unit. The C125 features a smart key and an electric seat opener also.

The engine is a 125cc single cylinder air-cooled OHC unit. The 17-inch cast alloy wheels come to a halt using a front disc and a rear drum brake. ABS is present as well. Suspension bits include telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers.
