Bajaj Auto to launch six models by November; Husqvarna to arrive simultaneously – Report
Bajaj Auto is reportedly planning to introduce six products in the Indian market by November this year. The company is also working on adding the Swedish motorcycle brand, Husqvarna, in the country around the same time.

Speaking to Moneycontrol, Rakesh Sharma, chief commercial officer, Bajaj Auto said:
The market will see a lot of action beginning June. We already had a couple of introductions in the last two months. There has been an upgrade to the Dominar and the Avenger. Across the spectrum over the next 3-4 months the market will see 3-4 launches. These will be on smart innovations but not revolutionary. These will become the primary drivers of growth.
In April this year, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, had confirmed in an interview that the company’s marketing and R&D team are working on a new variant for the CT, Platina and Pulsar. These variants would arrive in June. Rajiv Bajaj also added that the new models would have one new feature, which would be extremely attractive to customers. Moneycontrol states that the Bajaj CT and the Platina will be available in 125 cc variants ahead of the festive season.
In other updates, Rakesh Sharma also spoke about the Indian launch details of the Husqvarna brand. Sharma confirmed that the company is on track with the Husqvarna brand and that the first models from this brand will arrive before November. Sharma said:
We are on track with it and it will be launched in the middle of the year. It could be September–November period because that’s also when the festival sales peak. We have to make sure it has an impact. We are on track with that.
Meanwhile, Autocar India reports that the KTM dealers in the country have been told to expand their showrooms in order to accommodate the Husqvarna brand. The report from Autocar India also confirms that the Husqvarna duo will arrive in India by November 2019.

Husqvarna will commence Indian operations with the launch of the Svartpilen 401 scrambler and the Vitpilen 401 neo-retro café racer. Both motorcycles will share their engine with the KTM 390 Duke although we expect to see different performance numbers on the Swedish duo. The company will launch half a dozen products in the country, Rajiv Bajaj had said in an interview in January 2019.
