Hyosung Aquila 650 gets a dark theme and a matching helmet from Eimor Customs

This is the most intimidating Hyosung Aquila 650 motorcycle that has come to our attention, and the folks at Eimor Customs are responsible for this appealing paint job.

Apart from the custom paint job and design, the Hyosung Aquila 650 gets a pillion backrest and a wider footboard.

The changes are limited to visual upgrades while the mechanical bits have been kept unaltered. For starters, the custom paint job brings a full grunge theme with skulls done in bronze/antique gold colour combination. The skull graphics are visible on the front fender and on the fuel tank (top and sides).

The engine, chassis and other items have received a stealthy look with a matte black finish. The bronze/antique gold finish is visible on the headlight mask and the fender at the front fascia. An identical theme is carried to the radiator surrounds and to the fuel tank. The helmet gets a matching paint and the skull design.

Eimor Customs fabricated the footboards and backrest for the Aquila to enhance the comfort quotient of the motorcycle. The standard bike, for reference, does not get a wide footboard or a pillion backrest. The seat cover has also been replaced, and Eimor Customs has given the motorcycle a diamond stitch pattern for an even premium look. The pillion backrest, too, gets an identical stitch pattern.

The mechanical specifications, as mentioned above, remain unaltered. Thus, the Aquila 650 in the images continues to draw 73 BHP of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 62.1 Nm of maximum torque at 7,500 rpm from its 647 cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. Braking and suspension department continues to employ the stock hardware. The ride related information is available on the fuel-tank mounted, semi-digital instrument console.

It’s a commendable paint job, thanks to which this particular Hyosung Aquila 650 will definitely turn heads wherever it goes. The combination of bronze/antique gold colour with the dark theme and hand-painted graphics give the Aquila a brand new persona and the folks at Eimor Customs deserve a round of applause.
