Hyundai Eon with touchscreen AVN launched in India

Hyundai India has silently expanded the Hyundai Eon range with the launch of a Sports edition model. The Hyundai Eon Sports edition starts at INR 3.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and stands out with enhanced styling and more equipment.
The Hyundai Eon Sports edition gets only three features over the standard model. On the outside, the entry-level hatchback gets side body moulding and sporty roof rails. Feeling the heat from the Renault Kwid, Hyundai is offering a touchscreen infotainment system with the introduction of the Sports edition model. It's a 6.2-inch unit with Phone Link, and it offers smartphone-based navigation, marking the first instance of touchscreen on the Eon since its launch in 2011.
The Hyundai Eon is available in D-Lite, D-Lite+, Era+, Magna+, Sportz+ and Magna+ (O) (O) trim levels. The Sports edition model is available in Era+ and Magna+ trim levels. There are no mechanical changes in the Eon Sports edition. Under the hood, there's the 0.8-litre iRDE three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 56 PS at 5,500 rpm and 7.6 kgm (74.53 Nm) of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard.

The Hyundai Eon Sports edition is available only in Polar White colour. The standard model gets a choice of Sleek Silver, Star Dust, Pristine Blue and Red Passion colours as well.
