Hyundai HA Spied: Nano Killer in the making
Hyundai’s Nano Killer – HA (its internal codename) is something of a very keen interest for IAB. The simple reason being it will be the first car to challenge the Nano on its home turf. We have brought you the spyshots of this car before but those were taken in the dark and one couldn’t see much.
Don’t be disappointed, here we have some fresh spyshots taken in bright sunlight. Although, the car is heavily camouflaged, one can easily make out the i10 connection. The car is sporting the same headlights and wheels as the i10. It seems like Hyundai bought themselves a photocopier and put the i10 through at one and made it to 75% of its original size :P
The one problem that we notice as of right now is the window line for the back seat. It seems that it is raised way up just like the Beat or the A-star. And if you have been in the back seat of either of these two cars, you would know how claustrophobic it can get.
Jokes apart, this car is sure to steal some of the Nano’s spotlight. The car will be aggressively priced to take the top variants of Nano and some entry level maruti products.
The car is being built in Hyderabad on a modified Santro platform and will be sporting an 814cc three-cylinder version of the Epsilon engine developing around 48bhp (approx 15 bhp more than a Nano).
Expect the new car to hit the market in the later half of 2011
