India-made Renault Lodgy with LED DRLs, projector headlamps - GIIAS 2015
First MPV from Renault Indonesia.
At the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (2015 GIIAS), P.t. Auto Euro Indonesia (Indomobil) has launched the India-made Renault Lodgy. It is the first MPV offered by Renault Indonesia, and is based on the Renault Duster's platform.
The Indonesia-spec Renault Lodgy unveiled at the motor show is nearly identical to the Renault Lodgy Stepway variant sold in India, save for few exclusive features. Characteristic exterior features include a triple-slat grille with chrome inserts, silver colored foglamp housing, vertically-positioned taillamps, and a bold chrome garnish with the nameplate embossed at the back. It also gets LED DRLs, roof spoiler, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy rims and projector headlamps.
Inside, the Renault Lodgy borrows design cues from the Renault Duster SUV, as seen in the instrument cluster, center console, and gear lever. It features a new steering wheel design, a 7-inch MEDIANAV infotainment display, cruise control, power operated ORVMs, leather upholstery and foldable tray tables for occupants in the second row. The Renault Lodgy is available as a 7 seater (with 2 captain seats in the second row) or the conventional 8-seater arrangement.
The Renault Lodgy packs a 1.5-liter DCi diesel engine sourced from the Renault Duster, which is available in two power states: 85 PS and 110 PS. Power is sent through a 5-speed manual gearbox (85 PS) or a 6-speed manual gearbox (110 PS) to the front wheels.
