Makes 61 hp more than the Agera R.
An IAB source has provided the technical specifications of the Koenigsegg Agera RS that will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show tomorrow. Meanwhile images and a video walkaround of the car have been posted by other websites.
Our source confirms that the car is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine but develops a maximum output of 1160 hp @ 7,800 rpm (up from the Agera R's 1,099 hp) and maximum torque of 1,280 Nm @ 4,100 rpm (up from 1,200 Nm). It is paired to a seven-speed paddle shift gearbox with auto shift mode. Drive is passed on to the wheels through the Koenigsegg electronic differential. The engine is flex-fuel capable.
The Agera RS measures 4,293 mm long, 2,050 mm wide, 1,120 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,622 mm. Other features on the car include a 3-mode ESP, a chassis built with carbon fiber and aluminium honeycomb, active rear wing, active front flaps, and superlight hollow carbon fiber wheels.
