Maruti Future S Concept teased again ahead of global premiere at Auto Expo 2018
MSIL has released yet another teaser image of the Future S concept that the company intends to showcase at the 2018 Auto Expo that kick starts February 7 onwards. The Maruti Future S Concept previews the design direction for future Maruti Suzuki compact cars.
The latest teaser reveals the LED headlamp signature of the concept ahead of its world premiere at the bi-annual event. A teaser released previously gave a glimpse of the silhouette of the concept. The company says that the Maruti Future S Concept presents an all “new design language” for “compact cars” in India. The concept has been designed in-house by Maruti Suzuki.
According to a report published earlier this month, the Maruti Future S concept is over 200 mm shorter than the Maruti Vitara Brezza (3,995 mm). The concept could very well evolve into the Renault Kwid rivaling model codenamed Maruti Y1K. The Maruti Future S concept may enter production towards the end of 2018 or in early 2019. It will slot below the Maruti Vitara Brezza.
