MG 3SW – 2015 Chengdu Motor Show Live
The MG 3SW has made its debut at CDMS 2015.
MG used the 2015 Chengdu Motor Show to debut the MG 3SW. The 3SW is the crossover based on the MG3.
On the exterior, the 3SW looks like a crossover with roof rails and the black plastic cladding found along the lower portion of the car. The front is not a departure from the MG design language with the low-mounted hexagonal grille, blackened headlights and large air intakes outlined with a silver-finish strip.
The side profile gets shiny ten-spoke alloys, black A-pillar, black side mirror stalks and ORVMs with turn indicators. The rear features lengthy angular taillights, large air extractors and a skid plate housing the single chrome-finished exhaust.
The inside gets a basic layout with plastics for the dashboard and a three-spoke steering wheel. The black colour is in stark contrast with the white accents that has been used for the AC vents, interior door handles, steering wheel, center console, shift stick and transmission tunnel. Orange trim has also been used to liven up the otherwise dull interior, making its presence felt on the door pads and seat upholstery.
Power for this crossover comes from a 1.5-liter, four cylinder petrol unit producing 109 bhp and 135 Nm that is mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.
