Modified Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 gets a pinch of cafe racer styling

A modified Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 recently caught our attention with its unique styling that adds a pinch of cafe racer persona to the recipe. Folks at OK Easy Shop, Thailand gave this Interceptor INT 650 a visual upgrade that features a custom rear cowl and a Union Jack design on the radiator guard.

The modified Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 features custom rear cowl, 17-inch wheels and a unique radiator grille with Union Jack design.

The changes begin at the cockpit that now features a new handlebar to perform the steering duties. The modified Interceptor INT 650 uses a flat handle, instead of the tall set units from the factor for a relatively forward-leaning riding position. Bar-end mounted blinkers replace the stock blinkers at the front for a cleaner look to the fascia. The stock levers have been traded for aftermarket, adjustable units.

The fuel tank design, logos and contrasting stripe on the top have been retained although the modification adds a silver design to the top-centre. The black on gold stripe, unlike the stock motorcycle, has been brought to the front fender and the custom cowl at the back. The rear cowl holds the new, aftermarket tail lamp, while a pair of blinkers sits on either side of the custom panel. A compact number plate holder hangs under the custom cowl.

The stock saddle has been traded for an aftermarket seat that features a diamond stitch design, adding a premium touch to the 648 cc motorcycle. Another unique touch to the modified Interceptor INT 650 is the addition of Union Jack guard for the oil cooler.

The stock exhaust canisters have been replaced by aftermarket units that have a black finish. The black canisters add a nice contrast to the visuals, although we would have liked to see a chrome exhaust to match the bodywork. Changes to the mechanical specifications are not mentioned, and thus the motorcycle most likely continues to draw 47.65 PS of power and 52 Nm of torque from its 648 cc fuel injected, parallel-twin cylinder air & oil cooled engine.

The cockpit features an aftermarket handlebar with integrated front blinkers and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

The suspension setup on this modified interceptor has received a mild revision and while the front continues to use the stock telescopic forks, the rear gets aftermarket springs. The modified bike rides on 17-inch wire-spoke wheels instead of 18-inch units that come installed from the factory. The wheels are wrapped in Avon-sourced rubber. The braking department continues to use single discs on both ends.
