The visual upgrade, for starters, witnesses the addition of a bright paint job along with Goa theme graphics that comprise a sunset along with the silhouette of trees. The green paint of the graphics is also brought to panels like the crash guards, saddle covers, luggage rack, handlebar and wheel stripes. The wire-spoke wheels get a black finish. Apart from the paint, the moped also benefits from a new headlight mask at the front. Another noticeable style upgrade is the panel under the rider seat that features an updated and modern design.
A closer inspection reveals the updated instrument console setup, and the modified XL100 features a full-digital display instead of the analogue unit on the stock moped. The instrument console is borrowed from the Ntorq 125, and thus it benefits from the Bluetooth connectivity function. Braking setup, too, has witnessed an upgrade, and the modified moped gets a petal-type front disc. The stock motorcycle, for reference, uses drum brakes on both wheels. The aftermarket LED headlight and taillight add a refreshed and a modern look to the moped.
The mechanical details have remained unaltered, and the TVS XL100 Goa edition continues to draw 4.2 PS of peak power at 6,000 rpm and 6.5 Nm of max torque at 3,500 rpm from its 99.7 cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine. The motorcycle also retains the stock suspension setup that comprises conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided springs at the back.
Do note that the modified TVS XL100 Goa edition is a one-off model that was modified for display at the MotoSoul 2019. The company will not introduce the Goa edition as a production model.

The Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team for the Dakar Rally 2020 will include Michael Metge (France), Enduro Champion Lorenzo Santolino (Spain), and Johnny Aubert (France) and Harith Noah (India). Aravind KP sustained a leg injury during his practice session earlier in the year due to which he will not be participating in Dakar Rally 2020.
