After the Xtreme 200R and the Xpulse 200 duo, Hero MotoCorp is reportedly planning a fully-faired motorcycle that will be powered by a 200cc engine, reports Zigwheels.

Zigwheels adds that the upcoming model could be christened as the Karizma. Apart from the engine, it is expected to share its underpinnings with the Xtreme 200R, built around a diamond type frame.
A report said in September that Hero MotoCorp plans to introduce four bikes in the 200cc segment and the two-wheeler brand has already launched the Xtreme 200R and unveiled the Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 200T. The fully-faired motorcycle would complete the quadruplet family.
Going by the report, suspension duties would be performed by 37mm front telescopic forks and preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Engine specifications could be identical to the Xtreme 200R so expect to see the 200cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor delivering about 18.4PS of power and 17.1Nm of peak torque. The engine would be paired to a five-speed gearbox. A 276mm single disc at the front and a 220mm unit at the rear would perform anchoring tasks while the safety net of single-channel ABS will come as standard.
That said, the fully-faired motorcycle could come with sportier ergonomics that would be achieved with the use of clip-on style handlebar and relatively rear-set footrests.
Similar to the Xtreme 200R, the fully-faired 200cc motorcycle could carry a competitive price tag and compete against the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Yamaha YZF-R15. The source report suggests that the motorcycle could be priced between INR 1 lakh and INR 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and would arrive in the market in the second half of 2019.

Meanwhile, another report from this month suggested that Hero MotoCorp is working on the production version of the XF3R in India. However, the bigger model is not likely to come to the market before 2020.
