The special edition package entails styling enhancements including black headlamp bezels with LED DRLs, black ORVM casing, and black 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Changes to the interior include part leather seats and rear privacy glass. The cabin features a 5-inch NissanConncet touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, DAB digital radio, and USB and AUX support.
The Black Edition is based on the mid level N-Connecta trim of the Nissan Pulsar. Except for Italy, Spain, and Portugal where it is based on Acenta grade. Also, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Czech Republic and Slovakia get 17-inch wheels instead of 18-inch.
With the introduction of the Nissan Pulsar Black Edition, the company also reiterates the car's strength, which is the best in class rear legroom it offers.
Nissan offers the Pulsar with two engine options - 115 PS 1.2 DIG-T petrol and 110 PS 1.5 dCi diesel. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and CVT gearboxes.
Ryan Gains, Chief Marketing Manager, Pulsar, Nissan Europe, commented: “The Nissan Pulsar remains a hit across Europe, with customers awarding it an impressive 9.1 out of 10 with independent feedback organisation Reevoo.”
“Building on this success, the new Pulsar Black Edition will satisfy customers seeking a more contemporary and stylish five-door hatchback,” he added.
