Nissan Thailand is showcasing the E85 biofuel version of the Nissan Sylphy 1.6 at the Thai Motor Expo 2016 today. Like the regular petrol model, it's available in three variants: E, V and SV, and prices range between 817,000 baht to 870,000 baht.
The Sylphy E85 is powered by the HR16DE 1.6L 4-cyl engine with Twin C-VTC, which produces 116 PS and 154 Nm of torque. It is paired with an X-Tronic CVT gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. The Sylphy E85 is optionally equipped with VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) and TCS (Traction Control System), along with other safety features like ABS with EBD, BA, dual airbags, and automatic door locks.
Otherwise, it looks identical to the regular Sylphy (or Sentra in other markets), featuring a design influenced by Nissan's older design philosophy with LED-bordered headlamps, LED tail lamps, sportier bumper with foglamps sharp angled trunk lid and chrome garnish.
The cabin is furnished with features such as start/stop button, automatic climate control, 4-way adjustable multi-function steering wheel, 2-DIN audio system, multi-info LCD display and aircon vents for rear occupants.
