Possible next-gen Force Trump LCV spotted on test
Team-BHP forum member v12 has shared a new spy shot of what looks like the Force Trump LCV. The test mule was spotted in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
The test mule has a cab design completely different from that of the Trump 40 models currently on sale. It has a bonnet, which could allow the company to plonk a bigger engine and thus expand its applications. Like in the current model, the turn signals look separately positioned above the headlamps.
The design of the cargo box suggests that it’s the Hi-Deck version that is useful for purposes like tent house business, mineral water distribution, newspaper distribution and more.
The current Force Trump 40 Hi-Deck measures 4,395 mm in length, 1,580 mm in width and 1,580 mm in height. It has a 2,750 mm wheelbase and 162 mm ground clearance. Its cargo box is 2,670 mm long, 1,480 mm wide and 2,750 mm high. The rated payload capacity is 1,070 kg.
No details about the new Force Trump LCV spotted on test this month are available yet. The Force Trump 40 range employs the TD - 2000 F DI three-cylinder diesel engine that produces 39 hp at 2,600 rpm and 124 Nm of torque at 1,400-1,600 rpm. A four-speed manual transmission channels power to the wheels.
