Qoros 2 SUV Concept teased ahead of Auto Shanghai debut [Update]
Update - CarNewsChina has snagged the first live images of the Qoros 2 SUV Concept from the Auto Shanghai that opens to the press tomorrow. The report insists that its Chinese car market launch would be in the fourth quarter of the year and the production car would be formed on the stretched platform that underpins the Qoros 3 hatchback and sedan.

Update - Autoblog Serbia is carrying images it claims are of the Qoros 2 SUV concept that premieres at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 20.
The vehicle features tight overhangs with melted edges, coupé-like silhouette, has the 'hockey stick' styling elements seen on other Qoros models, narrow headlamps that cut into the flanks, large roof rails and rear spoiler, and a pronounced rear haunch.

Previews Qoros's first proper SUV.
Chinese-Israeli automotive maker Qoros has sent out a teaser image of the Qoros 2 SUV concept that will bow at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, which opens to the media on April 20.
Qoros has stayed mum on the details of the car, but CarNewsChina say that the SUV will be launched in the last quarter of the year, and has until now been known as the XQ3 in the local media circles. The mid-size SUV would be based on the Qoros 3 and have a 1.6L turbo engine with outputs of 156 hp and 220 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT. The site adds that a new 1.8L turbo with about 185 hp could also make it to the vehicle.

All Qoros models are manufactured Changshu, China with the plant having a production capacity of 150,000 cars, which can be raised to 450,000. Qoros currently sells the 3 hatch, 3 sedan and City 3 crossover in China and parts of Europe.
