Renault Kadjar - 2015 Geneva Live

Based on Renault-Nissan's CMF architecture.

Following its unveiling earlier this year, the Renault Kadjar crossover has made its public appearance at the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Measuring 4.45 m long, the car gets 190 mm ground clearance, and approach and departure angles of 18 and 25 degrees respectively.

Based on the CMF (Common Modular Family) platform, the Kadjar shares its underpinnings with the Nissan Qashqai. It's available in both 4x2 and 4x4 versions, while engines includes two petrol and two diesel units.

Renault has fitted the vehicle with its R-Link 2 infotainment system, and while it's a 5-seater, the presence of a glass roof is bound to make the cabin seem roomier.

The vehicle will be made across the world at plants in Europe, Africa, and China. It will be the first Renault to be manufactured in China, at the Wuhan plant, which is through a joint-venture with Dongfeng.

The Captur's bigger brother goes on sale in summer while the RHD markets (UK) get it in autumn.
