A report from motoring portal Bike Dekho says that the Royal Enfield Interceptor INT will be available with two new accessories – fog lamps and alloy wheels – over the existing 29-part optional extras. The fog light and the alloy wheels should fit the cafe racer, the Continental GT 650, as well. IAB had reported in the past that the 650 Twins could get an alloy wheel option.
The standard motorcycles come with conventional headlights. The addition of LED fog lamps would enhance the illumination department. The LED fog lamps would come handy for folks who plan to use the motorcycles for touring purposes. They could be installable on the rest of the Royal Enfield motorcycles too. As they will be a part of the official accessories, they would not affect the warranty of the motorcycles.
Apart from the fog lamps, the 650 Twins will receive optional alloy wheels. Regular readers would remember that Royal Enfield has already announced alloy wheels for the Thunderbird and Classic range of motorcycles, for a price of INR 10,000 (excluding the installation charges and taxes). The Thunderbird and Classic range-spec 9-spoke cast alloy wheels are available in 19-inch front and 18-inch rear combination. The 650 Twins would receive 18-inch alloy wheels on both ends to replace the 18-inch wire-spoke units.
Royal Enfield has already updated its "Motorcycle Configuration" section with Electrical, Luggage and Wheels categories – all of which say “Coming Soon”.
The addition of alloy wheels adds the convenience of tubeless tyres to the motorcycle. Tubeless tyres, as you much already know, are easier to fix in case of a puncture than tube-type rubber. The OEM alloy wheels should be more reliable and rugged than aftermarket units. The 650 Twins-spec alloys should retail at the same prices as the units for Thunderbird and Classic range.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is more popular than its cafe racer sibling. The prices of the neo-classic roadster start at INR 2.5 lakh, while the Continental GT 650's prices start at INR 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 650 Twins feature identical chassis and engine specifications.
