Custom Royal Enfield Classic 500 modified into a Vintage Hardtail Bobber
Delhi based Puranam Designs has entirely transformed a Royal Enfield Classic 500 by modifying it into a pre-independence era vintage hardtail bobber.
The custom Royal Enfield Classic 500 exudes the old hardtail bobber design philosophy with aplomb. The motorcycle features Girder front forks and a hardtail at the rear. The bike features a small circular headlamp and a single-pod instrument cluster. The bike receives a flat handlebar and twin fuel tanks on either side of the central chassis tube.
The modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 features chopped fenders at the front and back while completing the heritage bobber look is the single seat with a tanned-maroon leather finish and contrast stitching. The bike rides on wire-spoke wheels that are wrapped on Duro tyres. The air filter box also features the maroon leather finish.
The stock braking setup of a front disc and a rear drum brake has been carried over from the stock bike. The modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 features custom LED taillight and the official Royal Enfield free-flow exhaust.
Powering the Royal Enfield Classic 500 is a 499 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor that is capable of pumping out a maximum power of 27.2 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The 4-stroke engine works in harmony with a 5-speed gearbox.
