Skoda Yeti launched - 2015 Nepal Auto Show Live

MAW Enterprises Ltd, the authorized distributor of Skoda products in Nepal, has launched the Skoda Yeti at the ongoing 2015 NADA Auto Show. It is available in one variant only, powered by a diesel motor. The price of the Yeti Elegance is NPR 84,99,000.
The SUV is powered by the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine, tuned to produce 160 PS (118 KW) maximum power at 1,500-6,200 rpm and 320 Nm peak torque at 1,700-2,500 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the power is sent to an All-Wheel Drive system. The SUV, which weighs 1530 kg, manages to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h. The vehicle has disc brakes on all wheels that are shod with 215/60 R16 tyres.
The Skoda Yeti is provided with safety features including 6 airbags, off-road assistant with Hill Descent Control, Anti-Slip Regulation (ASP), Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Hydraulic Brake Assistant (HBA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM).
The prominent features in the D-segment SUV include keyless entry, engine start-stop function, cruise control, light assistant, foldable and removable rear seats, and lumbar support for driver and front passenger.
