The new Suzuki Address scooter celebrated its debut at the EICMA 2014 today.
Power for the Address comes from a single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected 113 cc motor that makes 8.98 hp at 8,000 rpm and 8.6 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, and is paired to a CVT gearbox. Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency of 49.01 km/l, and a range of 255 km on a tank full of fuel.
The Address measures 1,845 mm in length, 665 mm in width, 1,095 mm in height and 1,260 mm in wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of 120 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters. The scooter weighs 97 kg.
It is suspended by a telescopic coil spring at the front and a swingarm type coil spring at the rear. A disc brake for the front and a drum for the rear perform braking duties.
Storage features include the 20.6 liter underseat compartment and two pockets in the front which can hold a 500 ml bottle each. The Address will be available in three colors - Metallic Ice Silver, Titan Black and Brilliant White.
