Regular readers would know that Suzuki Motorcycle India recently launched a new paint option for its highest selling scooter, the Access 125. The Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler brand also introduced the MotoGP edition of the Gixxer SF (facelift). It will launch the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP in August.
Speaking about the launch of the new colour option, Devashish Handa, Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said:
Building on its existing popularity, we have introduced the Matte Black colour edition of Burgman Street that augments its style quotient and gives an unmatched road presence with a sportier and bold look.
In terms of styling, the matte black Suzuki Burgman Street skips the bronze coloured panel on the body. Instead, the matte base paint is accompanied by glossy black highlights. The changes are limited to visuals and the Matte Black Burgman Street continues to use the same mechanical specifications as the existing scooters.
The 124 cc 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivers 8.7 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. Hardware specifications include telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic type shock absorber at the back. Stopping power comes from a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Safety net comprises CBS as standard. The scooter comes with Suzuki’s one push Easy Start System with central locking and safety shutter.
