India-made Suzuki Ciaz launched at INR 9.27 lakhs - Algeria
Algeria is the first export market for the Ciaz.
The made-in-India Suzuki Ciaz has been launched in Algeria at 1,299,000 Algerian dinars (around INR 9.27 lakhs). The top-end variant with automatic transmission is priced at 1,399,000 (around INR 9.98 lakhs).
The Algeria-spec sedan is available only with the 1.4-litre four-cylinder K-Series petrol motor which generates 91.1 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The Ciaz in the Algerian market is offered with standard features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, remote central locking, automatic climate control, power windows and wing mirrors, integrated blinkers on ORVMs, foglights, adjustable multifunction steering wheel, audio system with CD, MP3, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, Start/Stop button, front arm rests, 16-inch alloy wheels and so on.

Algeria is the first export market for the new sedan which outsold its main rival in India, the Honda City, in its launch month. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL) will also export the B Segment sedan to countries like Nepal and possibly Indonesia next year.
