Suzuki GSX-R150 ABS launched at the Indonesia Motorcycle Show 2018
As reported, Suzuki was planning to introduce an ABS variant of the GSX-R150 for the Indonesian market. In latest updates, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has launched the motorcycle at the 2018 Indonesia Motorcycle Show today. The ABS equipped model has been priced at 33,150,000 Indonesian Rupiah (INR 1.61 lakh).

Apart from the ABS variant, the GSX-R150 will be available in two more versions – Standard and Keyless – priced at 29,100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (INR 1.41 lakh) and 30,100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (INR 1.46 lakh) respectively. The GSX-R150 ABS will compete against the newly launched 2019 Honda CBR150R that also benefits from the safety feature.
The Suzuki GSX-R150 is available in Solid Black, Stronger Red-Titan Black, Metallic Triton Blue, Titan Black and Brilliant White - CW Vigor Blue colour options.
The motorcycle continues to draw 19 bhp of maximum power at 10,500 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm from the 147.3 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, fuel-injected engine. The motor is paired with a 6-speed transmission. Stopping power comes from disc brake on both ends while the safety net of ABS is available as an option. The engine gets fuel from 11-litre tank and the motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 131 kg (kerb).
The bike's feature list includes a LED headlight, an all-digital instrument console and Suzuki Easy Start System among others. Alloy wheels are wrapped with 90/80 R17 front and 130/70 R17 rear tubeless tyres. Conventional telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear perform suspension duties.

While there is nothing to report on the Suzuki GSX-R150 coming to India, the Suzuki Intruder SP this month started to arrive in showroom in India. The special edition of the 155cc cruiser was launched at ex-showroom prices of INR 1,00,500 for the carburettor variant and INR 1,07,300 for the fuel-injected version. It is powered by a 154.9 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that is tuned to deliver 14.8 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm on both variants. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
