Video - New Suzuki Vitara compact SUV's first promotional clip released
Powered by 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engines.
The new Suzuki Vitara was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last week. Based on the concept iv-4 that premiered at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show, the Vitara is Suzuki's rival to the Nissan Qashqai and Honda CR-V.

The new Vitara, when it goes on sale in Europe next year, will be powered by 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The petrol is good for 120 hp and 156 Nm, while the diesel (Fiat MultiJet) makes 120 hp and 320 Nm of torque. These specifications are identical to that of the SX4 S-Cross.
The petrol engine of the Vitara will be paired to 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions, and the diesel will be sold exclusively with a 6-speed manual. Both, petrol and diesel variants can be had with Suzuki's ALLGRIP 4WD technology.

The compact SUV has its dimensions at 4,175 mm in length, 1,775 mm in width, 1,610 mm in height and 2,500 mm in wheelbase. It has a luggage space of 375 liters.
